Hi,

I have very slow d/l speeds and through searching forums it may be due to my LAN connection. I read that by going to my ADSL router settings page (dlink) i can use Port Forwarding to assign ports 6881 - 6888 to bit torrent.

However when i try and set up a new rule it says "a name cannot start with a number".

It had 5 areas to fill:

Rule name: Torrent
Protocol: TCP
Port start: 6881
Port End: 6888
Port Map: 6888


im not sure what to put in Port map and i think this is the problem.

Anyone know what to do?

Go to http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm it gives you a step by step guide for a whole host of d-link routers!
