Hi, I'm new here, and I wanted to ask a question. I recently dl'ed Dungeon Seige off of Kazaa, and they are these ISO files that I know nothing about. Can someone tell me what I am to do?

Downloading copyrighted material is piracy but I am still going to answer your question because I have changed it to "What are iso files?" in my head. In future, never post piracy related issues as its the number 1 thing to get you barred!

Anyways with that said, iso's are cd images. Basically, entire cd's in one file. I'm gonna assume that you use Nero Burning Rom! Open Nero and close anything that pops up. You should be now at the main window.

1. Click file and click Burn Image.

2. Browse for your iso's and double click one of them.

3. The options you have now are simulate and write. You definetly need write selected! Simulate will simulate a burn and then write (just to make sure you are not wasting a cd) but its not compulsory so you can skip it if you wish!

4. Click Write.

5. Repeat the steps for every iso you got. Each iso requires 1 cd.


Now if you dont have a cd writer then WinRAR will open the iso's. So if you extract each iso to a folder on its own, you might get somewhere but I'd doubt it!

PS. If you dont use nero, just look for an option to burn images on whatever software you are using!
