I am new to backing up PS2 games. Does DVD Decrypter remove copy protection on games that are being backed up? Meaning I have a game that has copy protection how would I go about removing the copy protection so that I can backup the game. I havent experience this yet but I would like to know what to do if I come across a game that I cannot backup. Thanks!

No, it doesn't remove the copy protection (no program can). It will make a backup of the game, but you still need a modified ps2 to play it.
