BLACK SCREEN PLEASE HELP ASAP

I HAVE A HD LOADER MAXTOR 120GB AND A HD LOADER SOFTWARE NTSC VERSION AND NETWORK ADAPTOR. I THINK MY PS2 IS VERSION 6 OR 7 ITS GOT 8 SCREW HOLES ON THE BOTTOM OF MY PS2.THE PROBLEM IS EVERY GAME I COPYED GOES THROUGH BUT WHEN I TRY TO PLAY THEM I GET NOTHING BUT A BLACK SCREEN. THE GAMES I TRYED WERE BURNOUT3 AND NBA LIVE 2005.ONE GAME I COPYED DID PLAY IT WAS GTA SAN ANDREAS BUT I WAS TOLD IT MAY NOT WORK AFTER A CERTAIN POINT IN THE GAME DUE TO THE DUAL LAYER DVD PART OF THE GAME. ANY WAY CAN I FIX THIS BLACK SCREEN THING? THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
