Hi i am just wondering, i got(downloaded) halo 2 and i am just wondering....

my xbox is ntsc and the game is pal.
Will it work properly?
can i make it a ntsc file before i burn it?
please help me.

if you have a modded XBox, just burn it and the chip (should) take care of the conversion (there maybe a setting on EvoX or something, i am not sure as i don't own a modded XBox)

Ok that's what I thought first off but I left my xbox NTSC and put it right on the hdd and it worked without having to change the xbox to PAL. and if you need help on burning post again and we should be able to help. (I wonder what he said lol)

well i got it to work, all i had to do was put the dvd in my system.

also can someone answer this...

i downloaded
Halo 2 - Xbox PAL DVD9 - DiFFUSiON.torrent

The in game voice is french.
is there anyway that i can change it to english without downloading the..

I have also noticed that PAL games work on my friends modded XBOX (Xenium ICE) as this is totally unexpected I have asked around but never received a straight answer as to how/why this is. Either way, I'm not complaining, I enjoy the free compatibility!

@joseph3, it should be in french with english subtitles, there is no Halo 2 file with English audio as of yet (the one you mention is probably a faked file), just be happy that you can play it before its release and quit complaining :)
