Good day.

I am trying to play some Xvid files on a newly purchased Philips 642. The unit is hooked to a standard def tv via RCA cables. The xvid files are 624 x 352.

The files play fine, except I get a number of light vertical lines through the picture - the lines occur every 15 pixels or so. When I play the files on my computer, the lines do not appear.

Is this normal? Is it an artifact of scaling?
