With all the talk going on about the new halo, lets keep the discussion down a bit until the official release. While discussing it isn't illegal, the possible bad image to our boards could lead to other rules being established. Also, if M$ really was going to try to enfore the said fine, you are giving them some direct info to find you. This is not about the backing up issue, just about keeping AfterDawn going. (and possibly some fines from being issued, yea I know the likelyhood is low but you never know.) Plus, who knows what stupid new law may come to pass.
