AXELCLOWN I think you need to download a program called BitTornado.

http://bittornado.com/download.html

That program will open the .torrent file and start to download it.

Hope this helps.

Depends too on what game you're trying. Some games needs extra programs for them to load right. Go to http://swapmagicfix.com/ and they have a list of games that need extras things to run correct.

"but how do i open Halo_2_DVD9_PAL_XBOXDVD-DiFFUSiONi.torent"

Download a bittorent client to open torrent files. A torrent file, you may notice, is generally < 100kb... I don't know what you could possibly achieve by extracting it using winRAR.

If you have a HALO .torrent file, opening it with a bittorent client will start a download of HALO. The torrent file simply gives you access to the download. It isn't the game file itself.

If you want the basic bittorent client, go to www.bittorent.com and download it. I use BitTornado personally.

P.S. I'm willing to help people with the bittorent client because there are many things that torrents allow you to access. For instance, TV torrents. I don't have cable so there are a few shows I can't watch without downloading. [Then again, I suppose by not watching the commercials I'm blaspheming against those poor entertainment conglomerates.]

As far as downloading games goes? I can understand why people do it. The fact is, games are too expensive and have always been too expensive. I don?t work an 8 hour day so a good chunk of my pay goes to buying an $80 video game. Sorry. If I start playing a game that is obviously a GOOD game, then I?ll buy it and support the team that developed it. But how can I really know how good that game is without trying it?

Actually I was just mocking the people that said that. I totally agree. I've bought too many crap games that wern't worth it and then I get a $10 trade in on.
