pc game copy problem

I am trying to make a back up to splinter cell. I have tried cdclone, Alcohol120, and blindwrite5and i also have tried games x copy. My problem is it will burn fine up untill its about 94% done then will stall with errors and never finish copying. I have gone through several disks and im getting very pissed off.

I have an optorite dd1203 (12xdvd burner)
I also use imation 48x cd-r's


Can someone give me any tips so i can get this pc game to burn right without errors. thanks in advance
