for some reason my ps2 wont play psx games i dont know if it will play copies or not for i have not tried but i tried a few original games and get the red screen asking for a ps2 or psx game but it loads up ps2 backups and original games just fine the reason i need to load up psx games is for memory card exploits any help would be nice

It would help to know what mod chip you're using. There are websites that have tutorials on how to boot different games with the available mod chips.
