I am using dvd decripter and have the paranoid version of gta sa, and cant get it to work on my ps2. i dont have a flip top but am using the toc swap magic disk and i cant seem to get almost any games to work. The only game i got to work out of 8 was vice city and 5 mins of san andreas. I tryed it on my friends system and hes got a chip. works perfect. any tips??? ps. dvd decripter or alcohol for someone whos tested the waters.

it works fine with swap magic ,it sounds as though your laser/lens needs a clean .. check http://www.cyber-mag.com/station/laserPS2.htm

you will find a guide to take the cover off at the same site

note.. only adjust the laser/lens if cleaning doesn't work or if you find you have to clean it too often
