Hi. I recently bought a Duo 2 mod chip and I noticed in all the diagrams for the V9 PS2, there are 22 points to solder. I thought the mod chip only had 17 places to solder? Can anyone clear this up? Thanks.

17 wires is only for version 1 to 7 not for 9 and 10

Wow. that was a quick reply. Thanks. Also, do you have any tips on soldering for a newb? I have the wires and a solder. I'm going to get a mini soldering iron tomorrow. Thanks again.

also get some flux that will make alot more easier

and if don't work at the first time don't freak out and check your soldering in hte bios.

I am about to solder the DUO2 se to a ps2 ver4(no gap). Is it easier to solder to the bottom of the board for the no-gap chip? Or is it easier to just to solder the no-gap chip on the same side of the board as everything else?
