Hey was trying to burn games with jvc discs, was told that they werent compatible, i got some Imation and Sony discs today (both Dvd-R, 1x-4x) and when inserted into dvd decrypter it says supported speed: 4x. And still wont play on my Ps2.....

Is there a way around this?? is it my burner??? I have a Benq 1600 (with firmware uprgrading it to 1620)

having checked out various reviews of the benq writer and the manufactures web site the only info on any sites seems to be about the max write speed, nothing about min write speeds, might be an idea to drop benq support an e-mail and ask them what the min write speed is for your writer
