I can unselect boxes for all the stuff in the menus etc, but will i just be removing the sound, or will the extra stuff NOT be burned on the copy?

Thanks.

... Use this guide, but only with one movie ...

... Only drag the main movie file ...

Is there a way to re-author in DVD Shrink and not lose the Main menu functions?

I have a DVD with both full-screen and wide-screen on the same disc. I'd like to remove full-screen, but when I add the Title Menu, it says "DVD Shrink cannot retain menu functionality when you re-author a menu...menu will be converted into a regular video clip".

Thanks.

ps. I used DVD Decrypter to rip the movie.

You can get rid of the extras and still keep menus but you must stay in full disc mode. To get rid of the full screen try this....

Open files in shrink..
Click the plus beside Main Movie and you should see two choices.
Click on one to highlight it
Click the play button in the previewer to see if which it is . (you may have to view both because it's sometimes difficult to tell in the small preview window.)
Once we've figured out which one is fullscreen, we highlight it and then go over to the compression settings tab and click the little grey arrow beside where it says "automatic"
Select "still image"
This should lower the size of your files tremendously and you keep the menus.
Here's a link to some cool images you can use...

Good luck...

Glad I could help.
This also works for getting rid of previews and other extras. Just use the previewer to see what the files are.
