Yeah, I downloaded GTA SA and it came with a .mds and a .mdf files. I tried burning an image on alchol 120% and it failed, same with nero, and also I have gameshark, do I still have to have a swap magic/ mod chip?

If your trying to play a burnt disk on your ps2, you either need your ps2 modded on install a flip-top with swap magic. Backups will not load up and play by themselves.
