I'm trying to get the subtitles off Lord Of The Rings for my personal copy. I recently purchased the trilogy and I always cheap a digital copy, but I cannot seem to get the english subtitles off when the characters are talking in other languages (like Elfish).

Open it on my DVD player and it says there are no subtitles in use. Open the VOBs and there is no hard coded subtitling - how can I get that text off, other than to extract all the subtitles and delete all except the ones for translating Elfish?
