my hard drive is so close to dead. when i turn it on it clicks and clicks. well i think its the hard drive it sounds like that. if i play with it sometimes it works. i been looking into moding my xbox but i have a problem halo 2 and xbox live. i was looking at soft mods but i dont know if you can use it on xbox live. i do not know how to solder. i havent asked around to see if anyone i know can but i think i can find someone.

so the 2 ?'s are can i use a softmod on xbox live and what mod chip is a good one? i dont have much money to spend since i have to but a hard drive also. thanks for all ya help

where should i go to get a good deal on the chip?
