Hello,

I don't know if this is the right section but... I have a v4 PS2 and got it premodded 3years ago from a local store. I do need to use GameShark2/ActionReplay2 inorder for the machine to play backup CDs. But can't figure out how to boot a backup DVD using GS2... backup DVDs work with AR2 using a swap with a big TOC file but the way I have to do it is different than the ones in the FAQ.

Would anyone happen to have an old machine like me and have an idea of the type of chip that would be in the machine? I went back to the store and the guy wants $20 just to tell me the type of chip and show me how to boot using GS2.
