i just installed a modchip and everything works great but i heared you can get banned form xbox live. Why would i get banned and what can i do to prevent that.

Micro$oft (of course) doesn't want you modding there system so, if the modchip in enabled when you sign on Live your "eeprom" is banned, which is your XBox's unique ID code. To get your Xbox back on Live you have to get an UNBANNED eeprom from one of your friends that doesn't use Live, if you can't your outta luck and i don't think the forum rules will let me tell you how to change the eeprom on your XBox. If they will, i will get you an easy to follow guide :)

dont bother going on live any more coz M$ brought put a new update that detects the modified software on your hdd and it sounds like there wont be any way that people with modchips will be able to go on live any more. even if you get a new EEPROM
