DVD Video Freezes WMP, WINDVD...

I was using WinDvd for a while and everything worked fine but it was only a trial version so once the time was up I decided to delete it. One I did whenever I ran a dvd with WMP the dvd video froze after 5 minutes of play and the audio kept playing. I reinstalled winddvd and I had the same problem with that and Viplay. I ran it fine on DVDShrink. The CD's I'm running are not copies. Please help me I'm new here and have problems...
