I've just completed installing the Magic 3.1+ into my V2 PS2. Everything went ok (damn those contacts are small...) and I'm pretty certain there aren't any shorts. The console turns on and loads up the browser screen no problem, but the cd tray will not open. I don't know if it will load games, because there currently is no disk in the tray... Any ideas?

might be an idea to make sure all the cables are in corectly and that you didn't damage the eject/reset ribbon
