DMA in windows xp ?

Hi i have been told that when i want to burn films to dvd discs i have to have DMA turned on, on my dvd recorder. Can someone please tell me where i find this DMA ? I have window xp pro .

Go to device manager then select IDE ATA/ATAPI. Select DMA on in window.

xp automatically enables DMA if the device supports it
