found k-lite on a site calles paidzero,and downloaded it but it is not connecting to the internet. any ideas why?

I'm not going to be much help but wanted to add I have this same issue. I have a Netgear Router, opened the DMZ and still cannot connect.

I have had the same problem. I am not completely certain, but I read that Shareman was trying to configure their system so only their client would work on their network. Looks like they may have succeded.
Hmmm... I wonder what this does?

Since my last post I have talked to a couple of people. They are still using Kazaa lite with out any problems. Looks like its a hit of miss situation

I had Kaza Lite working until a did a spy sweep and critical file got deleted. I do no have the the .exe to reload. When I went hunting for Kaza Lite all I could find is Kaza Lite K++. Can someone tell me the difference? Thanks folks.

....only the old Kazaa Lite works without spyware. Any of the new Kazaa is loaded with spyware and if you remove the spyware it won't work. Best bet is bit torrent or shareaza......

Shareaza is crapy lately. Always in line for a download time which takes forever. EDonkey working for now. Still, what is the diff between Kaza Lite and Kaza Lite K++?

If you were using Kazaa lite then you spy sweep probably only found a .dll file (mine did). I forget which one it is, but the .dll is inactive without the other software that was stripped out to make Kazaa lite. If you spyware software had the ability to restore from a backup, you should be ok.
Hmmm... I wonder what this does?

Here is the scoop on Kaza Lite 2.0.6. LOADED with spy ware. Read the installation notes. With Kaza Lite you get GAIN and ALTEL which are the notorious ones detected by Spy Sweeper. Even worse, ALTEL (I think that?s spelled right) resides in your resident memory. These nasties send your personal info back to their makers, interfere with memory and have the potential to highjack you web browser. No thanks. I downloaded the Kaza K++ jazto71's web link and still cannot get that to work - will not connect. Still open for suggestions. Thanks to all.

Things must have changed. I was using 2.02 and it was fairly clean. Won't seem to connect now though.

dont use freaking kazaa than!! i dunno why you guys are obsess about getting kazaa to work without spywares.

Hey Psx, maybe it's fine with you to broadcast who you are to whomever, so keep up the good work! That's what makes this country great! EDonkey, Overnet, Shareza...... your right, who needs Kaza Lite. Still, I would like to know why Kaza K++ is not working, and if you read the thread you would see that answer has yet to arrive.
