i have a SCPH-39001 ps2 and a magic 3.1 mod chip, i entered the codes for gta san andreas and checked the codes i wanted then went to play the game, it says "loading game" then it just sits at a black screen as if nothing is happening.... what am i doing wrong? thanks

btw i read elsewhere that with backup games u have to select your codes then let it launch the game and when it goes to the blank screen you have to hit reset once and let the game reboot but it doesnt work cause the codes didnt take effect....
