Well, i think it was mention before but heres what i have to say about the possibilitty to play backups without mod-chip or swap disc ( just an idea that seems possible )

Like when you have an original game with DNAS, when you backup the game, the DNAS seemed to be faulty.

That means when you backup a game, its NOT the exact clone of the original.

So there must be a protected code in the original that seems to be faulty in the backupped version.

If there was a method like the DNAS patcher.

So like i want to play a PAL game, when i backup it, it won't be recognize by the reader of the PS2.

It seems that the reader of the PS2 reads a faulty code just like the DNAS. Maybe a protected code.

If someone has a reason why the PS2 doesn't let you play backup games. Could it be the media itself or is it just a code that doesn't let you pass?

Playstation 2: V9 PAL version
Ps2 Modded with: Ripper 2 Gold
Media used for backups: FujiFilm
Burner used: NEC 3520AW

Gamecube Black: PAL version
Gamecube modded with: DuoQ
Media used for backups: Traxdata mini DVD-R (RitekG04)
Burner used: NEC 3520AW
