I recently purchased a Phillips DVP642/17 Divx/DVD player. It plays the divx files fine but I am having audio difficulties. I have a Sony STR-SE581 receiver and I can only get audio if the settings are in 44mhz. Is this my Sony being the problem and a newer receiver will play mpeg-2 formats or is it possible something else. I am using Dr. Divx and have had a few video difficulties but so far have been able to work around them.

Any help would be great.
