I recently video taped a friends wedding on my Canon z80 Digital Camcorder and then with adobe premiere I exported the tape onto my harddrive. It was 17 gb's!

Therefore I cannot burn it onto my 4 gb ritek dvd-r...what do I do? Is there something I am doing wrong when exporting my recording onto my pc? Is there software on the market that makes it easier than using adobe premiere? When importing using Adobe, I didn't play with the settings, I left it default. Is this the problem? Please help.
