I'm looking to pick-up a modchip soon, and i've come to the conclusion that it will be a DMS4 or a Matrix Infinity. I'm leaning towards the DMS4 but I've heard that it doesn't play games out of the box. Is this true for both the lite and pro versions? I just want to slap the chip in and go. Any input would be appreciated.

They only have instructions for the MX-3, MX-L, and MX-L2 not the Infinity. How long has it been out? Should I just wait a few weeks and hope they post it, or am I just missing something?

OK, really the last question this time, 'cause I want to be sure before I waste money. So if I were to get the homebrew and flash it with the latest bios from their site it should then play burned games? No hunting around the internet, etc., etc.

Not too sure really. some sites say you can flash the bios, but the official matrix site seems to suggest that you cant. Just buy the full version matrix, its guaranteed to boot backups then.

I like hard drive mods myself. The HDloader kind I think. Plus HDLoader seems to be more stable with more support than HDAdvance. I found some good info and stuff at www.electronicunderworld.com
