I have some subscription to a torrent site and i can download games and movies..i have downloaded two games,sim farm and the sims 2...i have already emailed the support from the website, downloadshield.com and no answer from them..i have saved the files to my comp and then downloaded them to my comp, just like it tells you to do, but i cannot open/play the games...does anyone have anything for me to do, or have a program that will play the torrent files...i think they might be tmd. not sure though..any help would be appreciated.thanks

the torrent files need to be downloaded using a bit torrent client such as g3torrent or bitcomet. first install a client, then make the torrents that you downloaded associated with that particular client to download the actual program or game. let me know if this helps.

try: suprnova.org and lokitorrent.com. i'm not sure if you can download torrents from shareeaza. you will still need a bit torrent client. try g3torrent. you can get it at: g3torrent.sourceforge.net

thanks for responding..i am using bit comet 0.56 to do this download..it is going really slow..is there anyway to make it go faster or not? otherwise it dont really matter..as long as i am able to play the game thanks a bunch and this website has fixed all of my problems and helped me out alot..thanks again for being helpful

lol, bitcomet is a pretty good client
what kinda speed are you gettin for average?
and
on your firewall, have you opened the necessary 'torrent' ports?

i have no idea how to check, but my internet is only like 11mb/s or something, and i dont know about the firewall but that is fine
as long as it will be able to play. i cant wait to play that game

well my connection says 11mbp/s, but i dont know otherwise,,but that is cool cause it is almost done i guess...just takin its time

alright. i have the file downloaded by bit comet..now how do i get to play the game? i have tried to open it by using bit comet but just goes to the torrent download area...how can i put it to my computer and play the game?

To unRAR, you will need WinRAR, to unZIP you will need WinZip.
Both are available on the internet.
