Magic 3.1+ and a blank screen

I just installed my magic 3.1 plus and when i boot the machine up i just get a blank screen. I followed the steps that are required to boot up. The leds work fine, i checked my board for shorts and it looks like my soldering is ok. Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?
