PS2 v.9, SwapMagic CD won't work, need hlp w/DVD Loader

Ok, here's the deal. I've tried to find an answer to this before I posted w/no luck. I need to find out how to burn and use DVD Loader. Do I burn it to CD or DVD, Nero 6 won't let me burn the iso file to DVD, and if I have to burn it to CD, then I think I'm scr**ed.
I have a v.9 PS2 and my swapmagic 3.2 CD (that I just bought) does not work with my system. So, I cannot use it to load CD Loader to play my backup of Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal. The SM CD never stops spinning, and never gives me the "Insert Disk" screen. My SM DVD works fine, but is not sufficient to play my R&C backup.
Any help is appreciated.

THAT WAS IT!!! Thank you SO much. It took a little while for the game to start up (was about to give up) then as I began to walk away from my system and began tying my noose to end my poor pathetic life, it started up!!
You literally saved my life Sly.

OK please help. I am new so please bear with me. I had the same problem as monkeydu so I did what you told him sly. But now what? This is a silly question I am sure..But How do I use the dvd loader. Do I use it in lew of sm cd?
If so I tried it and I get nothing but disk error. Please any direction here will help. step by step me if possible. Thnkas a bunch and thank for your patience in advance.I have ps2 v9

1. load swap magic dvd
2. swap for dvd loader
3. hit eject, reinsert swap magic dvd, hit x
4. swap for backup, hit x
only needed for these games, http://www.swapmagicfix.com

DVDLOADer is really cool... how did they make a 500 MB file compress into a 2 MB rar?

most of dvd loader is just a dummy file (which compresses a lot).
