I have a chunk of video loaded on a PC encoded by a "genius" into a 1.2GB 3ivx .mov file. I need to move it to a PC with DVD writer and make copies for the rest of family. "Genius" has managed to destroy original and disc he made. I cannot easily pick up machine and bring it to any of the DVD writer PC's and vice versa. What I want to do is convert file to a divx or xvid (so that copy will play on some peoples PC's and take pressure off) and then make a DVD for everyone else. BTW this PC has DVD/CDRW combi drive hence the loading of large file. I have nero recode and vision express on one of the PC's which should take care of the DVD creation.

Any quick suggestions on tools to use or workarounds.

P.S. for genius read total idiot who head is up his a....! At least there is one copy left no thanks to him.
