Backup DVD movie for PS2

Hi All,
I cannot play back my movie DVD's on the PS2 (my default DVD player).

I have tried using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.

With DVD Decrypter I have selected all the "Remove" options under Tools | Settings | ISO Read Mode. I haven't touched any of the other defaults.

I then need to shrink the file size to fit on one disc so I've used DVD Shrink. I set it region free.

Then I have tried burning it back with both DVD Shrink onto DVD+R discs and DVD Decrypter onto DVD-R discs and neither worked.

When I load the DVD into the PS2 it goes through the usual startup then sits on the "Browser" page.

I can play them no problem on my laptop.

Appreciate any advice you can give. I have done a search on the whole forum looking for keywords DVD, movie, PS2 but couldn't find anything specific so i'm sorry if this question has been answered 100 times already.
