I have a few questions but if you know the answers it is probably simple to explain
I am getting my Magic 3.1 today and have been getting as much informatiion on soldering it as possible over the last week, but i still have some issues i need resolved, any adivce wood be appreciated thanks

What is the Multicore No-Clean Desolder Wick used for? It is coming with my mod chip and i dont know what it is used for. With my magic 3.1 the wires and solder are coming with it but i do not know if they are the ones i need
what type of wires, solder, and extra supplies should i get before install my magic 3.1

I have heard people talking about the power supply and needing to strip the solder off of the motherboard because it is tough. Is there something i need to do to any given point before i can actually solder the wires to it. I ask because i don't want to get it soldered and find out i had to strip some points.

ALso I want to make sure that the alternate S point on the top of the motherboard is safe to use. Is it?

ALso once i have everything soldered where do i put the chip itslelf inside of the PS2

Finally if anyone has any extra advice as to what i should be extra careful of or any techniques that make the process easier it would be great to have some input.
