Hi, i have been using this for the past month and it has been working fine on all my backups, then yesterday i tried to boot with it, the ps2 recognises it as a ps2 disk but i try and click on it and the screen goes black, then a few seconds later it just jumps back to the memory card/ cd browser screen. Iv searched through a fair amount of topics but cant find anything about this, Am i right to have a really really bad feeling about my laser/dvd reader?

The DVD isnt scratched or marked in anyway, all my legit ps2 dvd games work in it and my backups work with Swap Magic CD 3.0...

Any ideas?

Oh ye, i use a swap tool, no mod chip.

Mine only boots if i do this.
Turn on ps2 with eject button.
Insert swap magic
Press reset button.
It then boots before even getting to the browser screen.

nice one for the reply m8, i actually broke the reset/power button cable and have ordered a new one so i cant check this method out, but hopefully it will do the trick...

Anymore hints anyone?

hi, I just wondering, can you guys make a copy of the swap magic dvd disc for me to test it out?? I know you can't boot it up but I want to play with the files a bit to find a way to boot it with MC.
