Just captured an old vhs tape (kids film) 2hrs long approx onto pc.
Problems:

a)Video file is split into 2, of which the second has no picture or sound.

b)Towards the end of the first 'split' section the audio goes noticeably out of sync (one or two secs)

I used WinDVR 3 to capture in real time, is this program the problem?

In an ideal world I would like a 'one click' program to capture from my vhs player to harddrive, keeping the end result (however large) as one file, to do with as I please (DivX or something).

Any advice?
Are there any "good" software programs that can do this?
Answers as always are much appreciated
