Hi Guys,
As you may have guessed I'm NOOO here and was looking for some help. Running XP Pro, Intel P4 3.2 GHz, 1GB RAM and have recently installed a Toshiba SD-R5272 DVD +- R/RW drive. I'm just trying to burn some data to a DVD with Nero (OEM) 6.6.0.1 with no luck...even the simulations fail. The media is Verbatim DVD-R 1x-4x.
My first problem was a Promise Ultra66 card I have kicking around in the system. After getting the burner on the mobo IDE at least I can get drive info. I do still have an internal IDE Zip 100 in PIO as the second device on that IDE channel...is this a bad thing? The burner is using DMA.
