**Laser on your PS2 opinion**

I had my PS2 for about 3 years and recently started using Magic Swap Disc 2.0. Whats the wear and tear rate on my/your lens? Am I going to have to worry about my PS2 dying on me anytime soon. Whats everyones opinion/response if you use the Swap Disc procedure and had any problems yet. How long have you been using the Swap Disc as well?

Should I have just modded it using the chip?

Would Sony replace the laser since I never opened the PS2?

use quality media for your backups and you shouldn't have many problems, i've been using the swapmagic discs for over 18 months on my v7 without a problem and the ps2 is quite heavily used
