Movie crashes with ".ax" problem

Computer: AMD2500 - Gigabyte GA7VM400MP - 512Mb - CD-RW - DVD-RW

DVD Burner: Liteon SOHW 1312S

Movie: Movie DVD bought from the store

Software: Advanced DVD Player or R DVD Player (happens with both)

Problem: After a certain amount of time (2min, 10min, 1hr), the program crashes with a message saying that I have a problem with my DVDVIDEO.AX or XVID.AX

Any ideas?
