if i went out and bought a 29.99 slidechip combo with a fairly old ps2. Would it work effectifly with backed up dvd games and stuff. I mean i know its "supposed to" but does it really. And would it affect online play? Finally could it hurt my ps2 and since im to dumb to install a modchip should i do this? Also I hear you have to remove the top of the ps2 to succeed in this... Is this tough to do?

1. yes it works, use good quality -r dvd media
2. you have to patch your backup if you want to get online with it
3. no, you only need to remove the top for the fliptop
