FujiFilm DVD+R 8x

I bought this media at Best Buy today, 50 for $19.99. The first thing I did when I got to my computer was check the media with DVD InfoPro. To my suprise these discs were Tayio Yuden. Here is the Info.

After I found out this I returned and bought 4 more 50 packs and all of them was Tayio Yuden. Just thought I would share the Info. If you buy some hope you have the same luck. 8 have burned great at 12x with my PX-712a.

when you bought these did they say "made in japan" or "made in taiwan" on the label? just wondering if there is an easy way to determine if they are ty's before buying.

Yeaaaahh...I think "MADE IN JAPAN" is a good indicator.
Since I bought the DVD-R's can someone confirm these?

Oh and by the way if the Fuji's say made in Japan they are made by Tayio Yuden. But beware That Fuji is no longer in buisness with Tayio Yuden so get them while you can they won't last long. Also at one time the Fuji's in the 100 spindle where manufactured by Ritek. I am not sure if this is still true or not? I bielieve these spindle's are so cheap at Best Buy right now is because Fuji Film has to get rid of all there Disks manufactured by Tayio Yuden so like I said they won't last long so get 'em while you can..
