Hello. Newbie to afterdawn. This is a thread from 2 years ago.

"I'm very new to the DVD ripping scene; however, I post this message only after first having dug though several of the afterdawn.* sites, FAQs, and (yes) using the search on this forum. I hope someone can help me.

The Matrix Revisited is a great DVD and boasts a fantastic, easter egg soundtrack with over 40 songs. My ultimate goal is to get these songs ripped and encoded to the MP3 format. But I know there are lots of steps in between.

When I access the soundtrack in my DVD player, the player does not report which Chapter it's on (it starts counting the track time instead). My first guess is that the various tracks for the hidden soundtrack are buried somewhere in VTS_01_1.VOB, but I'm not sure.

Any thoughts? Is there a simpler way to preview what's in the various VOBs before ripping them to my hard drive and previewing how they sound in VOBrator? "

There are no new postings with this subject, so I am asking everyone if there are any advances in this subject. I have done countless searches and have come up with nothing.
