hi everyone
i was wondering what people mean when they say "i burned the files with 120% with the settings changed" i get the 120% thing but what settings should i change

What exactly are you asking? I take it you are refering to Alcohol 120%. Now You really wouldnt need to change any major settings to burn a iso. If you are able to burn fine with alcohol then dont change your settings. If its not broke dont fix it.
