Great Game but this having to authenticate the single player via steam every time you want to play is a real pain in the ass.

I just got the promo email suggesting I download it but the fact that I had to install that stupid steam installer screamed "bullshit" to me. I want nothing less than a hard copy.

Even with a hard copy you still have to install that stupid steam installer to authorize it even for single player.

Another case where they inconvenience legitimate buyers where the pirates just bypass the hassle.

Its possible Steams the reason why i lost my internet connection last night, i was in the process of replying to a post when it went dead.
The icon in the bottom right hand corner was telling that i was connected but my browser and e-mail would not work, only turning off the modem's power and back on seemed to work.
It would be interesting to see if anyone else has the same problems.
