My magic 3.1 in my v3 ps2 only boots ps1 backups - to get it to run ps2 originals or backups i have to disable the chip. I tried a duplicate chip, same thing.
Better to get a new chip or to check some of the pins? With a multimeter i cant find any bridges and connectivity seems to be fine - any ideas?
