aabbccdd, finally got some time, anyway, I did tell you earlier I did get a dvd by Joe B. it was pretty hard to locate one, he does have several cd's out but only that one dvd that I know about so far.
He is a good blues guitarist, no question, you know at my age it can be kinda stubburn to say no way, Duane or Stevie Ray or several others can not be matched, but this kid is good, I'll tell you what, he impressed me besides hearing good blues again, in that concert I never heard anybody pick a guitar and make it sound like a flute and than at another point made it sound like a violin, but most of all it was so good to see and hear a young man pick that slide have you close your eyes and just groove to some great music again, finally, you know what I mean, something with a beat, rythem and not just noise. Thanks for turning me on to this kid.

Fred glad you liked Joe his an amazing talent his roots are deep into the pioneers of the blues Muddy Waters,Albert King,Robert Johnson,Willie Dixon,Buddy Guy etc. his studied these guys to the fullest and the blues live on though him.
BTW if you have any info where you got that DVD let me know or PM me i would like to get it.

I thought it was relevant as that's what I was listening too at the time, if you didn't want us to post any pic's in this thread then you should have said, as far as I saw it, it wasn't causing a problem, can't see any harm in it myself and its fits into the thread quite nicely...
But if it's bothering you I'll stop posting pics, Dan, :-)

Because it's relevant? I think it makes the thread a little better, where you can post what your listening to and the album cover it goes with. Don't expect me to change it though, Dan ;)

The thing is that with all the sigs and several pics on a page, when i browse here from my work, it takes aaaaages to load *due to abuse my boss has limited everyone @ t3h job to dial-up speeds untill the cullprit confesses*, so if all you boys post tons of pics...
A page can take up to 2 [censored] minutes to load.
So i'm not opposed to it in general, but some moderation in it would be NICE.
