I have a DVD Recorder (Panasonic DMR-E100H) and I have been copying Laser Discs to the hrad drive and then dubbing to dsic, loading on to my computer and using Nero Video express to add menus.

NVE started failing about a month ago - I downlaoded an update but it still had problems. I purchased Adobe Encore 1.5 but was having audio probelsm - audio track was at least half speed to the video.

I was advised in an Adobe Forum to DVDD in IFO mode to rip separate audio and video files and then import thsoe into Encore. That worked but I now end with an audio file that has a slight delay relative the video - in fact the DVDD audio file names included the amount of delay.

My questions are,

a) am I using DVDD right to get the audio files that I want or is the re a way to avoid the delay (I am ending with AC3 files BTW),

b) can I clip or edit the audio files to account for the delay?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated,
