last year i played socom online and i eventually stopped playing it, now i want to hook my adapter back up and play some more games, but for some reason it wont work now by using the automatic setup. so i went through and put in everything manual now it says im connected but the info couldnt be sent to scea. so when i try to play online it dont get past the dnas part. It says no response from dns server (error 612) please help me!!

i have the ethernet cable running from the back of my moden directly into my ps2

lolz ive been playin ps2 games online with 56k :-p so it aint that, have you modded your ps2 with a modchip? Maybe you just need to disable it? :-D
