I have a v1 ps2 with an older gen modchip that uses game shark I tried burning some ps2 dvd games but none seem to be working my older cd backups work but not the dvds any suggestions?
P.S. I have used verbatim maxell memorerx and harmony 4x DVD-R burned at 2x using both Nero and Alcohol 120%

alot of older mod chips cant play dvd backups and that is probaly your problem........your best bet is upgraded to something along the lines of a duo 2 chip.......also do u kno what mod you have in your ps2???
