The Hardware:
Linksys BEFW11S4
I am on a linksys adapter to recieve that connection
DSL 1.5mb

The Software:
I am using Azureus 2.2.0.0
Recently upgraded from the old version
Zonealarm 4.0

The Story:
I have used bit torrent before and I have gotten speeds up to 150kb+ easily. However one night my dad had the idea to install bit torrent. I instantly noticed a decrease in my speeds. Now when I download a very popular file my Bittorrent goes...1.5kb, 3kb, 0kb, 5kb, 0, 10kb, 0, 0, 0000kb. It just goes up to about a max of 11kb and drops right back down.

Nevertheless I have noticed something quite strange, my upload speed. It rarely budges. Sometimes it will come up to a max of about 3.kb but instantly drops to zero. But its not the torrent because I have 3 differnt files.

All my smily faces are green, I have ports 6881-6889 open, I know my ip is correct what is wrong!?

btw, my Dad's computer is shut down and no one else is using azureus
